Simple Brazilian Feijoada Recipe

Recipe Feijoada Simple Brazilian or Italian Fagiolata, with ingredients available in Italy, simple and delicious, I assure you a delight for the palate.

Many people rightly after inserting the first recipe of the feijoada told me that I had inserted ingredients that in Italy is not easy to find.

So I made this version of Feijoada Brazil-Italy, so you won't have problems doing it.

As always I recommend you eat this Bean accompanied by Rice is farofa then if you want you can also put the vinagrete many like it.

Ingredients

  • ½ kg black beans
  • ½ kg Ribs of pork possibly boneless cut into cubes
  • ½ kg of Bacon or Bacon cut into cubes
  • ½ kg of Sausages I like the spicy slices cut into rings
  • ½ kg of frankfurters from Norcia or similar cut into slices
  • 1 onion finely chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic finely chopped
  • 3 Bay leaves
  • 2 tablespoons of chives and finely chopped parsley
  • Oil

Method

Step 1

Soak the beans in a bowl and let it rest for 2 hours.

Step 2

In a pressure pan put the oil, onion and garlic then sauté the ribs and brown.

Step 3

Add the bacon, bacon or bacon, sausages and frankfurters to the pressure pan for a few minutes.

Step 4

Run the water out of the beans.

Step 5

In the pressure cooker add the beans and bay leaves.

Step 6

Add water up to two fingers over the contents of the pressure cooker.

Step 7

Close with the lid and put it on medium heat until pressure starts then lower the heat and cook for 15 minutes.

Step 8

After taking out the pressure, open the pan and check if the salt level of the meats to salted the bean otherwise add the room to your taste.

Step 9

Add the herbs and mix for another 5 minutes and serve.
