Natal ham
American American Christmas ham.
In the 1950s these smoked ham began to be imported into Brazil using the expression "Tender Made", which means "made with care".
The Brazilians soon renamed the novelty with translated Tender de Natal (Sweet Christmas).
Traditionally, Prosciutto is prepared with fruit or marinated with sweet ingredients, which creates a nice contrast with the salted pork meat.

Ingredients

Method
Step 1
In a large bowl, mix the pineapple juice with the white wine, put the ham to marinate in the refrigerator, covered with foil or cling film for 12 hours. If you prefer, put it in a plastic bag and close tightly.

Preheat the oven to 200 ° C (medium temperature).

Cut off the tip of the garlic head. Transfer the ham to a baking tray. With the tip of a sharp knife, make strips on the surface of the ham, forming rhombuses and at each intersection put a clove.

brush with the marinade, add the head of garlic, the bunches of rosemary and bring to the preheated oven for 30 minutes;

Remove from the oven, brush it with honey and put it back in the oven for another 20 minutes. Every 5 minutes, brush with the marinade

Remove the ham from the pan, transfer to a plate to bring to the table and cover with aluminum foil to keep it from cooling while preparing the sauce. Also remove the head of garlic and keep it aside.
