Pane da Forma very simple to make, this is my Aunt Mide's recipe. Whenever I went to visit him in Brazil he made me this bread.
Very good I loved eating it as soon as it was removed from the oven with salted butter.
Without milk and eggs
Ingredients
- 1 kg of flour 00
- 70g of sugar
- 10g of salt
- 80ml of sunflower oil
- 20g of dry organic yeast
- 600ml (approx.) Of water at room temperature
Method
Step 1
Mix the flour, baking powder and sugar, make a hole in the center and add the oil and salt.
Step 2
Gradually, stirring, add the water and knead until it comes off your hands.
Step 3
Knead for about 10 minutes, cover with a cloth and let rise for 10 minutes.
Step 4
Squeeze the air and shape one or more loaves into the shape you prefer.
Step 5
Arrange on a baking sheet and let rise for another 20 minutes or until doubled.
Step 6
Bake in a preheated medium oven (200 ºC) for about 40 minutes or until golden brown.
Step 7
Note: Makes 3 loaves of approximately 580g each
