Chicken Lasagna

Lasagna di Pollo, is a variant of the classic Bolognese lasagna that we all know. We are lovers of good pasta, especially when it is prepared by us. In general, pasta is a quick and easy dish. Traditional lasagna is known as Bolognese and has conquered the palate of all lovers of Italian cuisine. In Brazil at the beginning of the 50s when the Italian illegal immigrants arrived who bought their first land in Brazil, they built their first Italian restaurant. Since lasagna Bolognese wasn't a dish that Brazilians might like very much, they made a variant with polo. Since in Brazil we eat chicken a lot, they paired it with this dish. Here now you can try to make this very good Chicken Lasagna recipe if you want to do something different than usual. Ps. in this recipe the Requeijao should be used, a typical Brazilian cheese that is not easy to find here in Italy but on the website you can find the recipe or use the creamy curd or 50% of spreadable cheese and 50% of robiola. Ingredients

  • 1 chicken breast
  • 500 g of sliced mozzarella
  • 400 g of sliced cooked ham
  • 1 pack of fresh lasagna sheets
  • 1 jar of Requeijao or Curd or 50% form. smeared. 50% robiola
  • 2 dice with chicken broth (or chicken flavored dressing)
  • 2 cups of milk
  • 1 pack of sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons of flour
  • 3 spoons of butter
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped

Method

Step 1

- SAUCE -

Step 2

In a saucepan, make a homogeneous cream with 2 tablespoons of flour and 2 tablespoons of butter (reserve 1 tablespoon of butter).

Step 3

Add the milk, 1 chicken broth and stir constantly.

Step 4

Remove from the heat and add the cream, set aside.

Step 5

- POLO SHIRT -

Step 6

Cook the chicken breast in water (without oil), once cooked, Filleting the Chicken

Step 7

Chop the onion into small pieces, put it in a pan and brown it with the butter.

Step 8

Add the chicken and chicken broth, stir constantly until the chicken is completely golden brown.

Step 9

- ASSEMBLY -

Step 10

In a baking dish, place 2 ladles of sauce.

Step 11

Prepare the base with lasagna pasta, cover with 1 layer of ham, 1 of cheese and 1 of chicken (in this order).

Step 12

On top of the chicken, place 1 layer of curd and 2 ladles of sauce.

Step 13

Cover the curd with 1 layer of ham, 1 layer of cheese and 1 layer of pasta, add the sauce.

Step 14

Repeat this process until about 2.5 cm are missing to reach the edge of the oven dish.

Step 15

Finally, cover the lasagna with a lot of cheese, curd and sauce.

Step 16

Cook for about 20 minutes on low heat.
